Fluorite - Surprise Mine, New Mexico, USA

 Particularly intense purple fluorites with a green core are characteristic of the Surprise Mine in Luna County, New Mexico. This specimen is exceptionally vibrant and clear. An extremely aesthetic piece on matrix in good condition. Dominating the crystal is a 3.9 cm (1.5 in) sharp-edged and exceptionally clear octahedron.
