Fluorite, Baryte – Halsbrücke, Saxony, Germany
Former Ludwig Fruth Collection, acquired in 1963
Aesthetic specimen with light blue fluorite twins on quartz with tabular, lustrous, white baryte from Halsbrücke near Freiberg. The dominant fluorite is formed as a penetrating twin. It has an edge length of 2.1 cm and is impressively transparent, allowing the numerous sharp-edged violet phantoms to be clearly seen.
