Fluorite – Clara Pit, Oberwolfach, Ortenaukreis, Freiburg, Germany
Unique, interesting and highly aesthetic collection item from the Clara mine.
Water-clear fluorite with an edge length of 2.7 cm on parent rock with quartz crystals.
The sharp-edged fluorite cube shows numerous incisions on the surface. These incisions probably come from an ingrown mineral (possibly barite or calcite) which deteriorates over time or has dissolved.
The specimen impresses with its uniqueness, wonderful aesthetics and the best quality.
Under artificial UV light (long wave), the fluorite shines violet.
Wonderfully intact, highly aesthetic and rare collector's item from this classic German location.
