Fluorite – Mine “10,000 Knights” Annaberg, Saxony, Germany

This aesthetic hand specimen, which at first glance appears pitch black, has sharp edges and comes from the famous 10,000 Knights pit. The fluorites show contrasting zones in yellow, violet and even black-looking dark violet. The different growth phases of the fluorite can be clearly seen on the back of the specimen. In transmitted light, a wide variety of red and violet tones are visible.
