Fluorite, Calcite, Sphalerite – Minerva No. 1 Mine, Cave in Rock, Hardin Co., Illinois, USA

 High luster, sharp-edged and slightly packaged fluorite with calcite and sphalerite form this beautiful specimen from the Minerva #1 mine. The intense violet of the fluorite condenses at the edges and forms darker zones which underline the cubic shape.
 A beautiful classic from a well-known site that is unfortunately no longer in operation and therefore cannot produce new specimens in this unique quality.
