 The front side is dominated by intact, highly lustrous, undamaged, and intensely colored fluorite. Snow-white dolomite and translucent calcite surround the intensely colored fluorite. The back of this aesthetic specimen is primarily covered with dolomite and calcite.
 Villabona fluorites are easily identified by their unique golden-yellow color. This aesthetic piece of transparent yellow fluorite with calcite fluoresces white (fluorite) and pink (calcite) under shortwave light.
