Fluorite – Berbes, Ribadasella, Asturias, Spain
Repaired!

Impressive fluorite specimen with transparent, strongly packaged fluorites with up to 6 cm edge length. The highly lustrous fluorites have some violet phantoms. The specimen is in very good condition, the majority of the detached surfaces are wonderfully crystallized. An all-round aesthetic and intact collector's piece of considerable size and excellent quality. The stress cracks typical of fluorite show an intense rainbow effect when viewed at the right angle.
Under artificial long-wave UV the piece appears in a soft pink.
Unfortunately, the fluorite broke during recovery and was later put back together. However, this is so barely visible that we only noticed it when we took the photograph. Even under artificial UV light, the glued area is not visible.
