Green and blue are the primary colors of this  opal from the Jozef Stollen mouth hole near Dubnik. The fact that Cerwnitze, Hungary, was found on the label suggests that this piece was found before 1918.
Documents show that opals have been found in Dubnik since 1400.
Unique and rarely offered piece from this historical European locality.
