Thin tabular Disthene crystal with deep blue core (Kyanite), marginally altered to silvery Paragonite, in quartz matrix. Recovered in June 1974 from a metre-sized quartz lens on the eastern slope of Pizzo del Lambro, ex collection Stefan Weiß. Such intensely zone-coloured Kyanites are considered a rarity!
