Cupro-Adamin – Hillarion, Lavrion (Laurion), Greece

 An outstanding specimen of intensely green, copper-bearing adamite from Laurion, Greece. Extremely rare in this rich color and size.
 Lead and silver ores were mined in the Lavrion mining area south of Athens as early as 5,000 years ago. Today, the mines are closed to the public.
