 A rare find from Hungary, discovered around 1900!

 Historic malachite pseudomorph after cuprite from the Andrássy Mine , Rudabánya, Hungary. The originally sharply defined cuprite crystals were replaced on the surface (enveloping pseudomorph) by malachite, with the original crystal form preserved in remarkable detail. A classic and rare collector's item from the early 20th century.
 Cuprite-malachite pseudomorphs of this type are known from the Congo, France, and Namibia. They are rarely seen in Hungary.
 This 3.8 cm high piece impresses with its aesthetics, its rarity and its great color!
