Chrysocolla on Quartz – Tentadora Mine, Julcani Distr. Huancavelica, Peru

 Intensely colored chrysocolla on long prismatic quartz. A wonderfully aesthetic and colorful paragenesis from a recent find in Peru. Chrysocolla from this find was newly presented at the Saint Marie Aux Mines Mineral Show 2022. However, only very few overgrown, intact quartz points were found. A curious and colorful highlight for any display case!
