Childrenite on Vivianite – Catavi Mine, Llallagua, Bolivia
 
This wonderful Vivianite from Bolivia presents itself as highly lustrous and crystallized with sharp edges. In transmitted light, the 7.5 cm wide crystal shows an intense, perfectly transparent green (see video). The Vivianite is covered with childrenite crystals. These form a chain-like formation and extend over three sides of the Vivianite.
