Cerussite – Tsumeb Mine, Otavi Mountains, Namibia

Ex Anton Berger

Ex Peter Pichler

High-luster cerussite in the coveted snowflake shape and dark color. This historic Schwimmer crystal comes from the collection of the famous collector and dealer Anton Berger. The handwritten label suggests that the cerussite was in his hands before 1939. Its labels were only later typed. In 1967, the crystal became part of Peter Pichler's collection.

What is particularly interesting about the cerussite are the malachite and presumably chrysocolla inclusions, which give this great collector's piece an individual touch.
