Calcite  - Tsumeb Mine, Tsumeb, Namibia
 
Wonderfully lustrous and intensely colored calcite from the Tsumeb mine. The yellowish crystal has a very aesthetic shape. The triangular termination (Mercedes star) is crystallized with sharp edges. 
The beautiful specimen comes from the popular and now closed Tsumeb mine in Namibia.  Particularly beautiful specimen!
