Calcite, quartz - Johanneszeche, Göpfersgrün, Fichtelgebirge, Germany
  
 The encasing pseudomorph of quartz over calcite stands out from the specimen with a magnificent luster. The barrel-shaped sharp-edged calcite is intact beneath the quartz. The dominant, slightly windowed quartz is also of good quality and, together with the calcite, forms an extremely aesthetic specimen from the classic site of the Johannes Zeche in the Fichtelgebirge.
