 12.1 cm x 11 cm group of several scalenohedral twin calcites. Translucent in the middle, the crystals become perfectly transparent towards the tip. The Elmwood Mine near Carthage in the US state of Tennessee is one of those sites that collectors immediately associate with a mineral type. In this case Scalenohedral-Twin-Calcite with the unmistakable gold-cognac-colored appearance.
