Calcite on quartz – Jbel Aouam, Mirit, Morocco
 This hand-sized specimen displays several generations of calcite on quartz. Short-prismatic quartz on a matrix is covered with grayish, scalenohedral calcite. These calcites are covered with another generation of stepped, white calcites.
 All crystals have a good shine.
