Calcite on Barite – Santa Eulalia, Chihuahua, Mexico

So-called dogtooth calcite in perfect quality. The crystals are highly shiny, sharp-edged and show very beautiful inclusions (phantoms) inside the crystals. The structure of this hand specimen is perfectly balanced and therefore particularly aesthetic. Regardless of whether you focus on the small or the large crystals, there are always new surfaces, reflections and inclusions to discover.
