Beryllonite – Nyet-Bruk, Braldu Tal, Skardu, Gilgit-Baltistan, Pakistan

 An exceptional beryllonite crystal. This very rare mineral, chemically a sodium beryllium phosphate, displays the typical columnar, complex structure of the mineral on its upper surface. The side faces are flat, partially overgrown with muscovite, and highly lustrous.
