Quaert – Sommerloch, Grimsel, Switzerland
 
Rock crystal with a very aesthetic build up from the famous find at Sommerloch at the Grimselpass in the Bernese Oberland. The water-clear quartz crystals are completely undamaged and all detached contact points are recrystallized. Beautiful collector's item of an alpine classic.
Good finds like this piece were mainly found during construction work for the power plant. The area around den Nägelisgrat  is known to emitters and collectors for alpine steps of the best quality.
