Quartz Rock Crystal – Rhone Glacier, Valais, Switzerland
 
 Slightly smoky rock crystal with a very aesthetic build up from the Rone glacier in the canton of Valais. The water-clear quartz crystals are coated with a little chlorite. Beautiful collector's piece of an alpine classic from this famous Swiss locality on the Furka Pass. The matrix, which is interspersed with adulars, reacts strongly to UV light.
