Rock crystal, fluorite – Berbes, Asturias, Spain

 When one thinks of the famous Berbes deposit on the Spanish Atlantic coast, one certainly doesn't immediately think of double quartz crystals of the highest quality. Yet this particular specimen is dominated by no fewer than two of these large rock crystals. With their sharp edges, luster, and aesthetic structure, they steal the show from the violet fluorites.
