Quartz (flat quartz) – Griesgletscher, Obergoms, Valais, Switzerland
New find September 2022
 
All-round crystallized flat quartz in the Ticino habit. This crystal shape is typical of Valais. These quartz crystals have grown flat and are mostly double-terminated. This piece also shows crystals in the normal Ticino habit and is recrystallized at the base.
