Orpimente on Hutchinsonite – Quiruvilca Mine, Santiago de Chuco, La Libertad, Peru
 
Aesthetically, spherical auripigment rises from the matrix on which there are highly lustrous Hutchinsonite crystals. Hutchinsonite is a rare thallium mineral. Crystals up to 7 mm long like those found here at this spwcimen are extremely rare. Together with the auripigment, the result is an aesthetic collection specimen that has only been found in the Quiruvilca mine in Peru.
