Aquamarine - Nuristan, Afghanistan
 
 Partly etched, gemy aquamarine with intense color from Nuristan, Afghanistan. The inclined contact surface is wonderfully recrystallized. The alternation of lustrous and semi-lustrous surfaces makes the piece look particularly three-dimensional. The crystal is 7 cm high and 3.1 cm wide.
