 Transparent beryl var. Aquamarine with a slight green touch found near the Marambaia river in Minas Gerais in Brazil. The crystal has the wax-like, lustrous surface that is typical for the region. The wonderfully shaped end faces are a little more lustrous than the prismatic faces. A wonderful crystal of stately size with clearly defined terminations. Rare crystal from the 1970s. Most of the crystals of this quality are unfortunately processed into gemstones. Historical find from the 1970s.
