Apophylite on Amethyst - Fengjiashan (Daye), Hubei Province, China
 
Highly lustrous, well terminated scepter quartz overgrown with apophylite on one side. The crystal has a fine but intense amethyst coloration and is slightly sceptered at the tip. Aesthetically and mineralogically interesting collectible from China.
