Apatite on potassium feldspar – Imilchil, High Atlas, Morocco

Transparent greenish apatites of up to 2.3 cm free-standing on sharp-edged, milky potassium feldspar crystals of the "paradoxite" type. The long crystal is double-terminated.
Extremely aesthetic and richly decorated specimen from a find in spring 2014!
