Garnet Var. Andradite, Prasem, Hedenbergite – Avasalos, Serifos, Greece

 A very beautiful, large specimen of garnet crystals (var. andradite) from the Cycladic island of Serifos. The garnet crystals are enormous, reaching up to 14 mm in size, and are surrounded by countless small hedenbergite crystals and fine acicular quartz. A wonderfully aesthetic and rare piece from Greece.
