Amethyst Scepter – Mapatizya, Kalomo Distr., Southern Prov. Zambia
 This scepter quartz wonderfully demonstrates the versatility of quartz. It is a double-terminated milky quartz with a scepter formation of crystal-clear rock crystal with zones of intense amethyst and smoky quartz, phantom and hematite inclusions. The surface is both mirror-smooth and fenestrated, and, as is typical for amethysts, slightly dissolved and thus uneven. This crystal has an excellent luster and top quality all around. Even the milky quartz is transparent.
