A fantastic piece of intensely colored Quartz var. Amethyst with Hematite inclusions from the famous Thunder Bay District, Ontario, Canada. The amethyst crystals are perfectly crystallized and razor sharp. They are transparent and of best intense purple color. Inside are beautiful spherical hematite inclusions with a gorgeous burgundy color. The luster of this specimen is breathtaking. 
Of particular note is the flawless condition of the crystals. It is absolutely unharmed. Since the amethysts grow in narrow spaces and are partly interlocked , there are very rarely intact specimens from this classic locality. 
A real classic in very good quality.
