Amethyst with hematite coating – Wiesenbad thermal bath, Annaberg district, Ore Mountains, Saxony, Germany
 A magnificently sharp-edged amethyst with a coating of milky quartz and hematite inclusions. The violet of the amethyst is particularly intense. The thin layer of milky quartz allows the red of the hematite to shine with a rarely seen intensity.
