Amethyst - window quartz with siderite coating - Brandberg, Namibia
 
 Aesthetic double terminated amethyst with intense color. The crystal is partly strongly etched (Windows) and shows interesting surfaces. Globular siderite adds a nice contrast to the piece. 
 Beautiful specimen from Namibia. An enrichment for the collection, not only for quartz collectors.
