Amethyst skeletonized – Kakamunurla Mine, Karur, Tamil Nadu, India
 Extremely unusual!
 Amethyst floater with an extremely rare and interesting crystallization. The specimen consists of several intergrown crystals. The lustrous crystals have skeletonized end faces. The apex of the dominant main crystal exhibits a hollow shape with skeletal growth toward the inside.
