The 10 cm smoky quartz is surrounded by intensely colored amazonite, providing an aesthetic and contrasting effect. Apart from the intense color, the aesthetic structure and the considerable size, the most impressive thing about this collector's item is that it has not been repaired at all. The specimens are usually recovered in fragments and are then reassembled and stabilized afterwards.
Unglued pieces like this are understandably in high demand in the USA and rarely reach the European market!
