Allanite - Trimouns Talc Mine, Luzenac, Ariège, France
 
Clearly crystallized allmanite with excellent transparency with a size of 7 x 3 mm. The extraordinarily large crystal is particularly aesthetically placed at an almost 90 degree angle on the matrix from which it contrasts. 
Wonderful and rare specimen from France.
