Dark brown Allanite needle (4 mm), besides Adularia, yellow-brown Titanite and Clinochlore on aplitic gneiss matrix. Boulder field "Sotto la Pioda" above Sonogno in the Verzasca valley, found in June 2017. This newly discovered Ticino locality yielded relatively large Allanites resembling dravitic Tourmaline (basic literature on this topic: LAPIS 9/2002, p. 29 ff. and 10/2002, p. 24 ff.)
